FormatR

Note, you should have been redirected to http://formatr.rubyforge.org Updates to FormatR can be found there. You can also do a 'gem install formatr' from the command-line.

FormatR provides perl like formats for ruby. These are used to create output with a similar format but with changing values.

Jan 29 2005 Release 1.09 is out. It's as full-featured as the perl version and then some.

This release makes some usability improvements in reading of formats using blocks and fixes a few bugs.

The documentation contains a change-log that shows all the new features, changes, and a list of issues and differences from the perl version.
